เมื่อวันที่ 29 ธันวาคม 2564 คณะการบัญชีและการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ได้เข้าร่วมโครงการทำบุญตักบาตรพระสงฆ์ จำนวน 9 รูป เพื่อเป็นสิริมงคล เนื่องในโอกาสส่งท้ายปีเก่า 2564 และต้อนรับปีใหม่ 2565 ณ ลานชั้น 1 อาคารบรมราชกุมารี สำนักงานอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม (จัดงานภายใต้รูปแบบมาตรการควบคุมและป้องกันโรคโควิด-19) โดยการจัดงานมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ ผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และบุคลากร และนิสิตมหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ได้ร่วมทำบุญตักบาตรเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลต้อนรับปีใหม่ 2565 ที่กำลังจะมาถึง และยังมีได้การจัดพิธีทอดผ้าป่า เพื่อช่วยเหลือฟื้นฟูเยียวยา แก่โรงเรียนในเขตพื้นที่รอบมหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ที่ประสบปัญหาอุทกภัย (หลังจากน้ำลด) ทั้งนี้ คณะการบัญชีและการจัดการ ได้นำปัจจัยต้นดอกเงิน จำนวน 6,231 บาท จากผู้มีจิตศรัทธาไปร่วมสมทบกองผ้าป่าสามัคคี พร้อมทั้งจัดตั้งโรงทานแก่ผู้มาร่วมงาน

On December 29, 2021, the MBS and Mahasarakham University took part in the merit-making effort by bestowing alms on nine monks for good fortune.

On the occasion of the old year 2021 and the dawn of the new year 2022, at the Boromrajakumari Building Office on the ground floor (the event is organized under control to prevent the spread of COVID-19.)

The event is designed for Mahasarakham University officials, faculty, staff, and students. They have united to make merit and offer food to monks for the auspiciousness of the coming new year 2022, and there is also a donation to support rehabilitating schools in the area surrounding Mahasarakham University that has been damaged by flooding (after the water recedes). In addition, MBS contributed the four necessities and a total of 6,231 Baht from individuals in joining the Khathin ritual, in addition to offering almshouses for the participants.
