MBS joined the signing ceremony of the MOA and MOU between Mahasarakham University and leading educational institutions in railway engineering and new energy vehicles engineering in the People is Republic of China. On February 2-3, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Charuay Savithi, Dean of the Mahasarakham Business School and Associate Professor Dr. Suteera Chanthes, Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Corporate Communications of Mahasarakham Business School, joined Mahasarakham University is Management led by Associate Professor Dr. Prayuk Srivilai, President of Mahasarakham University, Assistant Professor Dr. Nuchsara Choksuansup Thongsan, Assistant to the President for Public Relations and International Image, Associate Professor Dr. Juckamas Laohavanich, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, together with the management team of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahasarakham University, to participate in the signing ceremonies of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) between Mahasarakham University and leading railway engineering institutions in the People is Republic of China. The MOA was signed with Tianjin Railway Technical and Vocational College (TRVC) on February 2, 2026, and the MOU with Tianjin Transportation Technical College (TTTC) on February 3, 2026. This visit to sign the agreements aimed to enhance collaborations between Mahasarakham University and TRVC, specialized in railway engineering, and TTTC, specialized in new energy vehicles engineering, two leading educational institutions in the People is Republic of China. The collaborations focused on comprehensively addressing teaching, research, and human resource development. The discussions also extended to other educational fields offered at the Thai and Chinese partner institutions, including logistics and e-commerce, emphasizing the application of AI and Big Data to enable students to learn both theoretically and to develop skills through experience, analysis, and practical application. As part of the visit, the delegations from Mahasarakham University also visited the CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC) high-speed train manufacturing plant in Beijing and the Engineering Practice and Innovation Program Institute (EPIP) and the Luban Workshop at Tianjin University of Technology and Education (TUTE). The MSU delegations were welcomed by Professor Lyu Jingquan from Tianjin University of Technology and Education, Director of the Luban Workshop Construction Experts Committee, Ministry of Education of China, and Director of the EPIP Research and Promotion Center, along with the TUTE management team. Discussions were held regarding the establishment of an EPIP and Luban Workshop-based teaching center at Mahasarakham University. EPIP and Luban Workshop have been recognized intentionally as teaching and learning management principles for high-quality engineering education, which can also be adopted to promote high-quality learning systems for other disciplines. The discussion was intended to promote Mahasarakham University to establish the EPIP learning center for ASEAN. This center is expected to foster innovative and proactive learning in higher education, not limited to engineering, and to apply it to lay the foundation for high-standard teaching systems across a wide range of other disciplines.
